Perfect Fit of Beige

I used to think that beige was such a boring color, a color that only old people wore.  But that was way before I knew of such things as value, texture, and shade.  It’s true–beige can be a very plain color on its own, but plain can easily be manipulated into something new and refreshing.  Beige is also a great color if you’re looking for a subtle earth tone, and adds a calm accent to the room.  Beige rugs are a good element to add to a room because you can match almost any piece of furniture to it.  To keep an earthy aura to the room, one could match up greens, browns, and oranges to the mix.  For a calmer atmosphere, blue walls would contrast perfectly with your beige rug.
