Bulletin boards are one of the greatest things ever invented. I used to get a lot of these little notepads with magnets on the back, and while they had pretty designs and I loved them, I would always just use them as regular notepads for random things because I didn’t have anything to magnet them on to. I mean, I guess I could have stuck them on the fridge, but it seems like we only stick lists on the fridge if we need a certain food to be bought. It was very sad that I had all these magnetic notepads that could’ve made great to-do lists, but not be able to use them effectively because I couldn’t actually use them
That’s why I love the bulletin board. You can just put it on your wall and use it as a wall. You can tack things on and fill them up and overlap things and stick things onto them and it’s just a great way to stay organized with tons of little notes and reminders. There are even some boards that come with a white board or some other kind of magnetic attachment so I can put my magnetic little notepads on them! Bulletin boards are great for everybody; students can use them in the dorm, adults can use them in the workplace, and even families can use them to stay well communicated.
Here are some great bulletin board buys:
1. Desktop message boards
These are flat boards that you can just lay over your desk and stick reminders on. Sometimes, these will come as calenders with lots of pages so you can rip off each page by month. There are elastics attached over it so little reminders and notes can be stuck in place and won’t move when you lay other things on top of your desk, such as books to study or a laptop.
2. Cork board sheets
The most common type of bulletin board is the type we all know to be made out of cork board. A lot of bulletin boards come with framed cork board that can simply be hung on the wall. If you want a more interesting shape, you can check out cork boards that are in the shape of endangered species.
3. Dorm door white boards
There are some bulletin boards that come in mini-size, and are half bulletin and half white board. It’s great to put on the outside of ones door so that people passing by can leave notes or write messages.
